It’s so challenging in the garden this summer... strong winds virtually every day, not a drop of rain and trying to keep the garden alive...I am so aware of the plight of thousands of Australians suffering this drought, the fires and the suffocating smoke in Sydney. Julrosornas tid har börjat o ikväll startar Ernsts julserie. Verkar stämningsfullt o påhittigt, nyfiken på blommorna av clementinskal..Time for Christmas roses of all varieties!
Det är alltid lika roligt när kunder skickar bilder på hur processen med trädgården fortskrider. Den här trädgården ritade jag under vårvintern och nu är anläggningen igång. Visst blir det fint!? Som alltid - kunden har godkänt att bilderna visas.

THIS is what the holiday season is all about for me! I cherish these cozy afternoons with this girl while her sister naps! We only have so many Christmases with them while they’re young and yesterday I spent all of nap time working on our Christmas cards, so today was all about her! We had hot chocolate together and she painted a ceramic snowflake ornament for our Christmas tree that she picked out at Michael’s. She even took over my stories a couple of times to show you all. She loves seeing her handmade ornaments on our tree which makes it all the more special. I hope she never grows out of wanting to hang out with her mama!! Happy Thursday! .
You know the holiday season has officially begun when the Rockefeller Center tree is lit. But for me, the official start is when the Sant Ambroeus tree is up in the West Village.
Älskar amaryllisar! De ger sådan kraft och energi ur dina läckra knoppar och så blommar de så länge. Fyller huset både med lökar och snitt. Denna mörka tid måste fyllas ut med blomsterfägring! Love de luxe!
